If I’m honest, the only reason I was in Bologna was because it was a convenient base to pop to San Marino. 

But I was pleasantly surprised. Bologna was beautiful; cute small streets, leading to small courtyards and unexpected squares surrounded by towers and cathedrals. Vegan food. And more importantly vegan gelato, literally everywhere. Amazing.
