A city full of sights.

Most of the monuments are along the National Mall. With the Lincoln memorial on one end, the Capitol building on the other, and filled in between with the White House, Smithsonion museums, the Washington memorial and a lot of sculptures!

Ended up walking all day. Far too far!

I even went to some museums! very unusual for me, not the biggest fan. But when next to some of the most famous museums, you have to have a quick look.

We were staying right next to the area of Georgetown, lots of very English looking buildings, and streets full of small shops.
