I couldn’t be so close to Paraguay, without popping over the border!

The Friendship bridge links Brazil (Foz do Iguacu) with Paraguay (Ciudad del Este). The traffic over the bridge is long. So we walked!

After stamping out of Brazil, a walk over the bridge.

With views of the river and the city ahead

Paraguay don’t stamp passports if you’re staying within 30km of the border.

The city itself is just full of market stalls and shops selling fake goods. Fake electronics. Fake clothes. Quite a strange place.

After a bit of walking around. We walked back, to Brazil!
